Should healthcare be free?
Position3 of 3

There is no such thing as free healthcare

This position holds that there is no such thing as free healthcare. It argues that someone must always bear the cost—whether taxpayers, patients, or the state—so the real debate is not whether healthcare is free but who ultimately pays for it.

There is no such thing as "free" healthcare. Scarce economic resources means someone or the collective society is paying for that resource (in this case, medical services) to be provided for the people.
