Since January 2018 John has fulfilled Chief Clinical Officer and Deputy Accountable Officer roles providing clinical leadership to the CCG. During this time he has focused on inclusive healthcare and widespread shared clinical leadership across all professional disciplines. Dr John Patterson is also Medical Director of HopeCitadel Healthcare, a Social Enterprise working within the NHS, running practices and walk-in centres in hard-pressed neighbourhoods around Greater Manchester. They currently run ten practices serving a population of 40000. Three of these practices have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by CQC. Dr John Patterson has worked as a GP at Hilltop Surgery, Fitton Hill for the past 10 years. He is the clinical lead for ’GM Focused Care’ a collaboration between GMHSCP and Shared Health Foundation.
