
Gaspard Koenig, born in 1982, is a French philosopher, essayist and novelist. Koenig is the son of Jean-Louis Hue, former editorial director of the Literary Magazine, and literary critic Anne-Marie Koenig. After studying at Lycée Henri-IV, he was admitted to the École normale supérieure de Lyon in 2002, completed a year of university exchange at Columbia University, then obtained the agrégation in philosophy in 2004. He first works on the work of Gilles Deleuze and is interested in epistemological questions. He discovered French liberal philosophy during a year of study at Columbia University (New York).
