Jill Nicole Filipovic is an American attorney and author. Originally from the Seattle area, Filipovic attended Shorewood High School She earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and politics and a minor in gender and sexuality studies from New York University. She then earned a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law in 2008. She was hired by Cosmopolitan to write for the cosmopolitan.com blog in April 2014.
