Solar tiles promote resilience and longevity

Solar tiles are not just energy-efficient; they are also built to last. Their design ensures that they can endure extreme weather, from heavy rain to scorching heat, without compromising their structural integrity or energy-generating capabilities, making them a resilient choice for roofing.

The argument

A roof is judged first on how long it lasts and how much abuse it survives, and on both counts solar tiles outperform the materials they replace. Solar roof tiles are made from tempered glass over a rigid substrate, a combination engineered to shrug off the hazards that destroy conventional roofing. Manufacturers rate their tiles against severe hail and hurricane-force winds, and in industry impact tests glass solar tiles hold up as well as or better than slate, clay and asphalt alternatives.
